Formed in 1986, Skydiving Innovations is an aerial entertainment and operations company providing completely customized safe, thrilling and inspiring skydiving entertainment, branding and activation events, fixed-wing/drone/helicopter
entertainment, and aviation-related motion picture consulting work, services, productions and equipment. As our name implies, innovation is at the heart of everything we do.

We create opportunities for our client’s audiences to connect with their brands, cultures, missions, messaging & offerings in meaningful ways. Whether we perform as brand ambassadors for our clients at private or public events, or as part of virtual live-streamed gatherings, we deliver connectivity through our performance, leveraging vicariously thrilling and inspiring experiences to engage audiences honestly and drive meaningful responses. We are masters at all things aviation-entertainment. We create and utilize well-crafted storytelling, smoke, pyro, flags, banners, streamers, lighting, sound, synchronization and brilliant narratives to craft stunningly effective outcomes for our clients. Our team of skydiving, military and aviation experts are second to none. And our live aerial video delivered from skydiver and in-aircraft cameras to screens and social media is another powerful way we connect audiences and clients.

Skydiving Innovations is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Ron and Todd Lee. Both are civilians, having met 1978 while working at Sea World San Diego. Ron began his skydiving career in 1982 and they founded Skydiving Innovations in 1986. Shortly thereafter they began to recruit military demonstration skydivers from the Navy Parachute Team and other military and civilian professionals. In the ensuing years they have grown Skydiving Innovations into a successful aviation entertainment, event, branding and activation firm serving a wide array of industries. As of 2023, the company and its teambuilding subsidiary (formerly S.I. Teambuilding – now NSW Teambuilding) has performed, organized, managed, sold or operated more than 500 client events.

Ron and Todd are serial entrepreneurs, having founded and managed five tech and event businesses in their 45 years together. They live in San Diego County and treasure friendships and loyalty above all else.
